From rally cars to remote hiking trails, Italian food to Pink concerts, get to know Caroline’s world beyond accounting.
Who is Caroline?
If you ask friends and family to describe Caroline, the words hard-working, fun, and focused come up every time. She’s someone who puts her all into everything she does—whether it’s helping small business owners take control of their finances or trekking through the mountains with her dogs.
Oh, and did we mention she used to race rally cars? 🚗💨
“I used to race rally cars and still love the motorsport world. I often marshal at Oulton Park and Trac Mon in Anglesey and have worked for Audi, doing high-performance demo drives. I also spent time at Palmer Motorsport running track and rally experience days.”
A life in finance? Sure. But if she had to switch careers for a day? Motorsport, without a doubt. Though if driving wasn’t an option, she’d love to be a hiking guide, taking people on long adventures around the world.
And if she could have dinner with anyone? Her Nan, Violet, Pink, and rally legend Colin McRae. Now that’s a table we’d love to sit at!
Outside of Work: Caroline’s Hobbies & Interests
When she’s not working with clients, you’ll find Caroline outdoors. Hiking, running, and now, spunching—a high-tech orienteering event using satellite technology to navigate to checkpoints.
“Spunching is a type of orienteering that uses the MapRun app. You get a map, a compass, and a set time limit to find as many checkpoints as possible. It’s a fun mix of adventure and problem-solving!”
And when it comes to TV comfort watches? It’s got to be The Big Bang Theory—a show she’s watched at least 5 or 6 times (and probably still counting).
Dream festival or concert?
“Download Festival or seeing Pink live—guilty pleasure! But my favourite genre is rock/metal.”
Adventure & Travel
Caroline’s not a beach holiday kind of person—she prefers adventure travel, and if she could live anywhere for a year, it would be North Vancouver.
Bucket list destinations?
Canada – for the landscapes, hiking, and mountains.
New Zealand – for the ultimate outdoor adventure.
We’re just waiting to see her dog Casper make an appearance on a snowy mountaintop one day! 🏔️🐶
Food, Drink & Guilty Pleasures
One thing you’ll learn quickly about Caroline—she loves tea and is vegetarian (so if you’re planning a pub lunch, check for mac & cheese or veggie lasagne on the menu!).
Her ultimate guilty pleasure snack?
🍦 Ice lollies. “Fab or Del Monte orange lollies every time.”
And while she loves homemade bread, she only bakes it when pressured by the family (because apparently, her burger buns are legendary at summer BBQs!).
